Use Airtable Views to Limit Which Rows Sync to Shopify
By default, an Airtable → Shopify sync reads every row in the configured table. Setting a View to sync limits the sync to only the records that appear in a specific Airtable view. Records excluded from the view by its filters are skipped and not sent to Shopify.
Sorting, grouping, and hidden columns in the view do not affect the sync. AirPower reads values directly from the underlying table record, so even fields hidden from the view are still synced to Shopify.
This is useful for syncing a subset of products, applying a staged price update, or processing only records that meet a specific condition.
View to sync is available on Airtable → Shopify syncs only.
Set up a view in Airtable
- Open the Airtable table you want to limit
- Create a new view (or use an existing one)
- Apply filters to include only the records you want to sync
The view does not need to include all columns: AirPower reads data from the underlying table record, not from what the view displays.
Select the view in AirPower
- Open the Airtable → Shopify sync
- Go to Data & fields
- Click the data type (for example, Products)
- Next to the Airtable table selector, find View to sync
- Select the view from the dropdown
- Click Save sync

The View to sync selector only appears when the selected Airtable table has at least one saved view.
Clear the view selection
To return to syncing all rows, open the same data type in Data & fields, clear the View to sync selection, and click Save sync.
What you’ll see when the sync runs
Only records that belong to the selected view are included in the sync run. Records that exist in the table but are excluded by the view’s filters are not read and not sent to Shopify.
