Bulk Edit Shopify Locations with Airtable

Bring Shopify warehouse, retail store, and fulfillment location data into Airtable so location rows support inventory and fulfillment reporting.

Bulk Edit Shopify Locations with Airtable

In Shopify, a location represents a warehouse, retail store, or fulfillment center. Locations are the foundation of inventory: every stock quantity is tied to a specific location, and fulfillments are assigned from one.

Stock counts and fulfillment records that arrive in Airtable reference Shopify location IDs. Without the location records themselves in the base, those references are opaque numbers.

AirPower syncs locations as their own Airtable table. Inventory columns and fulfillment rows can link to it, so warehouse and store context shows up alongside the data. Location records are read-only because they are created in the Shopify admin.

What Locations contain

Available fields include name, address line 1, address line 2, and country name. Locations cannot be synced from Airtable to Shopify because they are created in the Shopify admin.

Configure Locations

  1. Open or create a Shopify → Airtable sync
  2. In Connections, select your Airtable base
  3. Go to Data & fields
  4. Click Locations
  5. Select an Airtable table
  6. Map fields in Main fields
  7. Click Save sync

How location rows are populated

Location rows appear in Airtable when product data is processed. There is no standalone Download button for Locations in Download Shopify data. Run a product download from Settings → Download Shopify data → Products to populate location data.

Inventory and locations

Inventory quantities are configured from within Variants, not from Locations. Open Variants in Data & fields, then use the Inventory pane to map stock quantities for specific Shopify locations to Airtable columns.

What you’ll see after saving

Once location data has been processed, location rows appear in the Airtable table with Shopify IDs written by AirPower. These rows can be linked to inventory or product records in your base.
