Find Your Airtable Workspace ID
AirPower needs your Airtable workspace ID when creating a new base on your behalf. This step appears during new sync setup when you choose Create a new base for me.
Find your workspace ID in Airtable
The workspace ID appears in the browser URL when you open your workspace in Airtable.
- Open your Airtable workspace section
- Select the workspace with the ID you want to find
- Look at the browser address bar: the URL contains your workspace ID
The URL looks similar to this:
https://airtable.com/workspaces/wspqrdtEQXErvBMXXU?
Your workspace ID is the portion that starts with wsp and ends before the ?. In this example, it is wspqrdtEQXErvBMXXU.
Confirm token access
Your Airtable Personal Access Token must have access to the same workspace.
To allow AirPower to create bases on your behalf, add the entire workspace under Access. Then choose All current and future bases in this workspace for that workspace.
See How to Create an Airtable Personal Access Token for token setup steps.
Enter the workspace ID
The workspace ID prompt only appears when AirPower is set to create the base for you.
- Start a new sync from the dashboard
- On Where will your Shopify data live in Airtable?, select Create a new base for me
- Connect your Airtable account if prompted
- On Where should AirPower create your base?, paste the workspace ID into the Airtable workspace ID field
- Click Create base
AirPower creates a base named <Your store> Shopify Sync in that workspace and opens the sync editor with it preselected.
Troubleshooting
The ID does not start with wsp
You may have copied a base ID instead. Airtable base IDs start with app. Return to the workspace URL and copy the wsp… segment.
Base creation fails
Verify the token has schema.bases:write scope and that its Access setting includes the correct workspace.
The workspace is not available
Edit the Airtable token and add access to the intended workspace, then try again.
