Back Up Shopify Product Data with Airtable

Clone your AirPower-synced Airtable base to preserve Shopify product titles, prices, variants, and media so you can restore data anytime.

Back Up Shopify Product Data with Airtable

Shopify does not version product data. Once a product, variant, or field value is deleted or overwritten in the admin, the previous state is not recoverable from inside Shopify.

For stores running bulk edits, app-driven changes, or large catalog rebuilds, that is a real exposure. A single mistake can cost product titles, descriptions, prices, or whole records.

AirPower syncs Shopify product data into Airtable. Once the data is in your base, cloning the base preserves a point-in-time snapshot you can restore from later.

How to back up

Once your product information has fully synced from Shopify to Airtable, simply clone your base. Rename the clone with the date of the backup. If you want to retrieve data from this clone base, copy and paste the necessary information into your main Shopify base. Do not copy over Shopify IDs for any missing products or variants, as Shopify will create new ones.
