Market price fields you can edit in Airtable

Each market price you add becomes its own column on the Variants table. Fixed prices go both ways. Relative prices are calculated by Shopify and stay read only.

Area Fields Into Airtable Back to Shopify
Fixed price A fixed price for the variant in one market Set up market prices
Fixed compare-at price A fixed compare-at price for the variant in one market
Relative price The price Shopify calculates from your base price and the market's exchange rate Read only
Relative compare-at price The compare-at price Shopify calculates for the market Read only
Base prices The variant's own price and compare-at price, on the same Variants table Variant fields

International market prices need the Plus plan. Shopify does not send market price changes as they happen, so download Market and B2B prices from the Sync's settings to pull fresh values. A Sync that runs on a schedule also refreshes them on each run.

From Shopify to Airtable and back

Two Syncs do the work. One brings your market prices in. The other sends your edits to Shopify.

  1. Bring your prices in

On the Variants tab, open the Market prices card and click + Add market price for each price you want. Save, and AirPower downloads the prices.

  2. Edit in bulk

Filter a view, then paste or fill down fixed prices for a market across hundreds of variants. Clear a cell to remove that fixed price.

  3. Click Sync now

Use an Airtable to Shopify Sync with the same Variants table. Each row is matched to its variant by the Shopify ID column, and fixed prices are written to each market.

Set up Variants first. Market prices are set up on the Variants tab and stored on the Variants table. Add Variants to the Sync before you add a market price. Market price setup

Shopify admin or Airtable for market prices

Shopify's bulk editor and CSV files already handle some market prices edits. Here is what changes when you work in Airtable.

Task In the Shopify admin In Airtable with AirPower
Which markets The product CSV has price columns only for markets with exactly one active catalog that isn't shared with another market. Each market's fixed price and compare-at price are columns on the Variants table.
Percentage-adjusted prices Catalog CSV exports include only products with fixed prices. Calculated prices for each market come in as columns next to the fixed ones, for reference.

Market price questions

More answers in the help center, or email team@airpowersync.com.

Which market prices can I change from Airtable?

The fixed price and fixed compare-at price for each market. Relative prices are calculated by Shopify from your base price and exchange rate, so they come into Airtable as read only.

How do I go back to Shopify's calculated price?

Clear the fixed price cell and run the Airtable to Shopify Sync. AirPower removes the fixed price from that market, and Shopify's relative price applies again.

Do market prices update in Airtable on their own?

Not as they change. Shopify does not notify the app about market price changes. Click Download next to Market and B2B prices in Settings > Download data, or use Download now on the dashboard sync card. A Sync that runs on a schedule also refreshes them on each run.

Which plan do I need?

International market prices need the AirPower Plus plan. Click Upgrade to AirPower Plus in the Market prices card on the Variants tab to unlock it. The app then loads the markets set up in your Shopify store.
