Bulk Edit Shopify Data with Airtable
Airtable’s spreadsheet interface is well suited for bulk updates to Shopify data. The steps below use products as an example, but the same flow applies to any data type that has writable Airtable → Shopify fields: Products, Variants, Collections, Images, Customers, Draft Orders, Pages, Blog Posts, Metaobjects, Companies, Company Locations, and select Orders fields.
Inventory, Market Prices, and B2B Catalog Prices are configured from Variants: they appear as additional columns on the Variants table rather than as separate data types.
Set up field mappings
- Open the Airtable → Shopify sync
- Go to Data & fields
- Click Products
- Select the Airtable table that contains the product records
- In the Main Fields pane, confirm the fields you want to update are mapped to Airtable columns
- Click Save sync

Make edits in Airtable
Update the rows in your Airtable table. Edit individual cells, paste in bulk values, or use Airtable formulas.

Run the sync
Click Sync now on the dashboard sync card to start the Sync immediately. This pushes the mapped Airtable changes to Shopify right away.
To run the Sync automatically, open the Airtable → Shopify sync and go to the Schedule section. A scheduled run is an automatic Sync that starts based on the schedule you choose, such as every few hours or once per day.
Sync only a subset of records
By default, the sync reads every row in the Airtable table. To limit which rows are included, create an Airtable view containing only the records you want to update, then select that view using View to sync at the top of the Products configuration inside Data & fields.
